Young Scholar Award

We are pleased to announce that the finalists for the 2018 Young Scholar Award are:

–  Shu Yang: “Wrestling with Tradition: Early Chinese Suffragettes and the Modern Remodeling of the Shrew Trope”
–  Alexis Lycas: “Southern Man People as a Political and Fiscal Problem in Later Han Times”
–  Jérôme Doyon: “Renewing the Nomenklatura: Age-based Cadre Management and the Communist Youth League in Post-Mao China”

CCKF Guest Lecture

The Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation Guest Lecture will be presented by Professor Marianne Bastid-Bruguiere (Director Emeritus, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) on Wednesday 29 August, 17.00 – 18.00 in the Bute Hall on the main University of Glasgow campus.
